Douson die forging joint research and development center Changshu base, following in November 2019, successfully developed 7" 5M 4130 75K tubing head multi-directional die forging. After that, in October 2020, another good news: 5-1/8" 15000psi multi-directional die forging wellhead fracturing valve body was trial-manufactured and mass-produced. It is currently the largest multi-directional die forging wellhead fracturing valve body, weigh up to1020kg, breaking through the size and weight of the previous domestic fracturing valve body of 710kg 4".

The valve body is a key part of the valve, and the valve body forging is an important connecting piece in oil and gas production equipment, and its mechanical properties and corrosion resistance are required to be high. This  type of Douson fracturing valve body adopts three-hole simultaneous one-time forging forming technology for the first time: the forging streamline distribution is reasonable, complete, and the relative density is high. The valve body is in a state of compressive stress in three directions, which minimizes anisotropy , so it has good stress corrosion resistance, excellent mechanical properties, especially high fatigue resistance; high material utilization rate (nearly 25% less material than domestic conventional forgings), less machining, and obvious economic benefits.

The successful trial production and mass production of Douson's 5-1/8" 15000psi fracturing valve body multi-directional die forging enriched Douson's oil and gas forging product line, and greatly promoted the multi-directional die forging technology to large high-stress die forgings, it has broad application prospects in petrochemical, aviation, shipbuilding, wind power and other fields.
