CNOOC Nanhai Wenchang is located in Wenchang City, Hainan Province, China. The nearby South China Sea area is rich in oil and gas resources. A certain platform in this area is the platform that Douson provides with the most wellhead and Christmas tree, including single barrel single well and single barrel double well, with a total of 15 notches covering 17 wells. Douson dispatched wellhead engineers throughout the whole process to provide offshore platform installation and technical guidance service, and completed the installation and delivery work in 10 months.
Offshore Oil Platform
As we all know, the cost of offshore oil extraction is high. In order to achieve better economic benefits, it is necessary to drill more wells in the limited space of the platform. This requires manufacturers to provide more advanced and reliable products to adapt to the more difficult offshore oil and gas exploitation.
For the narrow operating environment of the offshore platform, Douson adopts the design of the single barrel double well wellhead and Christmas tree structure. The kickoff points are drilled in their respective directions to achieve the purpose of drilling two wells in one notch, thereby saving oilfield development costs. At present, it has developed to three wells in one barrel and multiple wells in one barrel.

Compared with traditional Christmas tree, the height of the product is greatly reduced and the space on the platform is satisfied. The overall pipeline crossing structure puts the electric submersible pump into the oil layer; the wing valve single valve structure reduces the length of the left and right wings; the metal seal of the tubing hanger is Douson's patented product, which has excellent sealing effect and ensures the overall safety of the product stable performance.
