Douson Postdoctoral Thesis Opening Report Conference was a Complete Success

On the afternoon of May 29th , 2020, Douson held the opening report meeting of the postdoctoral scientific research workstation. Deputy Director Yang Yi of Xiangcheng District Human Management Center, Liu Yi, Taiping Street Zhu Zihao and other relevant personnel, Professor Guo Xuhong from the School of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering of Soochow University, Suzhou Vocational University Professor Jiang Zuo, former vice president, Professor Chen Qingzhang from Changshu Institute of Technology, Zou Liming, general manager of Suzhou Douson Drilling & Production Equipment Co., Ltd. and other doctoral supervisors and experts, deputy general manager Liu Jiantong of the company, Zhan Liangbin, deputy chief engineer Zhao Bin and other relevant personnel participated in the opening report meeting.
At the meeting, Mr. Zou Liming, the general manager of Douson, introduced the situation of the company and the post-doctoral scientific research workstation. To improve the technical advantages of the company's products, the company and Soochow University jointly recruited Dr. Chen Cheng to join the Douson postdoctoral research workstation to conduct research on the improvement of the AISI 4130 steel surfacing welding Inconel 625 alloy process, which enriched the company's high-level scientific research talent team.
Dr. Chen Cheng is the second postdoctoral fellow welcomed by our station. At the opening report meeting, Dr. Chen reported in detail the research purpose, direction, content and schedule of the postdoctoral scientific research project, and also introduced the research background of the project and the current project current status and development trend of research at home and abroad. Professor Jiang Zuo, the former vice president of Suzhou Vocational University, and other experts listened to the opening report. The experts demonstrated the feasibility, necessity, and innovation of the project, and put forward constructive opinions and suggestions. After comprehensive evaluation, the expert group unanimously approved Dr. Chen Cheng's opening report.
During the period, the leaders of the Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security and Taiping Subdistrict put forward valuable opinions, suggestions and work requirements on the operation and management of Douson's postdoctoral scientific research workstation, and expressed their earnest hopes for the future development of the workstation.
The general manager of the company, Mr. Zou Liming, also serves as a post-doctoral workstation cooperation tutor. He affirmed the importance of this topic to the company's future development, and proposed that the company will further strengthen research on the topic in the future to ensure that the workstation will truly play a role. He thanked the Human Resources and Social Security Bureau, the street and other relevant departments for their concern and support for the post-doctoral scientific research workstation. He also said that this is a new achievement in talent cooperation between Soochow University and Douson, marking that the operation of the company's post-doctoral scientific research workstation has entered a new stage.
Douson will start from the overall situation of personnel training and future development, provide a broad platform for the development of post-doctoral workstations, and reflect the value of post-doctoral workstations in the development and progress of the company's career.
